The present work is an idealized portrait of a woman in profile. Painted with a wet brush and very slightly tinted, the work is executed in the trademark Kishangarh style, characterized by extremely delicate brush strokes and the very stylized elongated eye.

Condition
Minor foxing and staining to paper. Paper losses to lower left corner and along lower edge have been infilled and restored. Restoration clearly visible in catalogue illustration. Paper paler than catalogue illustration.
