A holy man and his patron are seen engaged in discourse within a palace courtyard in the foreground, after having partaken of a meal which is being cleared away by attendants, while the ladies are pictured in their inner chambers above.

Condition

Very small crease lower left corner. Areas of paint loss in figures in second and third balcony from left. Large water stain in upper center of painting. Visible in catalogue illustration. Small areas of paint loss in figure in lower left corner.
