The Yadava heroes Krishna, Arjuna and Pradyumna unleash a shower of arrows upon Nikumbha's den in order to lure him out and challenge him to fight. Indra, the King of the Gods, is pictured watching the scene from the clouds above, his presence fortelling the intense battle that is to come.

Condition

Pinhole in background lower left visible in catalogue illustration. Several small areas of paint loose in horses. Minor creasing along center of top border. Colors lighter and fresher than catalogue illustration.
