large work is paper laid on canvas with sections secured by tape then painted, areas of paint shrinkage to areas with tape ground, minor undulations, small tear to lower left corner, smaller work with minor abrasions to extremities, scattered surface specks of dirt, colours more intense in reality with green of leaves more fluorescent, as viewed
