Condition

Executed on buff-coloured wover paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount towards the top two corners. All four edges are uneven. The two top corners have been strengthened on the recto and verso. There is a 1cm. circular stain towards the centre of the right edge (visible in the catalogue illustration). There is a very slight flattened crease (approx. 10cm. long) running diagonally into the man's beard and a flattened diagonal crease (approx. 3cm.) towards the upper left corner. Apart from some minor handling creases to the edges, this work is in good condition. Colours: The paper tone is slightly warmer in the original.
