Acquired from the above by the present owner in the late 1960s
Condition
Executed on buff-coloured wove paper, not laid down, attached to the mount at the upper right and left and lower left corners and floating in the mount. There are three artist's pinholes at intervals to the extreme upper edge, two with tiny associated tears where the sheet has been pulled off the pins. Apart from some very minor glue residue and slight paper skinning to the verso of the lower right edge, due to previous mounting, this work is in very good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate although the paper tone is warmer and more buff-coloured in the original.
