Executed on cream laid paper not laid down, floating in the mount hinged at all four corners, with a watermark, inherent to the sheet, running down the left edge. There is a 3cm. tear to the centre of the top edge and intermittent tears and nicks to the top and left edges. There is mottled time-staining throughout, visible in the illustration. This work could be conserved to a higher standard.
Colours: Overall accurate though the paper tone is deeper in the orignial.
