Condition

ETUDE 2 Executed on wove paper, stuck at the four corners and in the centre of the upper edge. Apart from a general waviness due the artist's process and a pinhead-sized time stain in the lower right quadrant, this work is in good original condition. ETUDE 1 Executed on wove paper, glued at the four corners and in the centre of the upper edge. Apart from a general waviness due the artist's process and a tiny tear in the rim of the left edge, this work is in very good original condition. ETUDE 3 Executed on white laid paper, not laid down. There are artist's pinholes at the four corners. The sheet is deckled at the lower and right edges. The sheet is glued to the mount at the four edges and it is slightly wavy, especially toward the centre of the upper and lower edges, probably because of the sticking. Otherwise this work is in good original condition. ETUDE 4 Executed on cream wove paper , laid down on board. There is a folding mark running vertically in the centre of the composition. There are three tiny tears in the upper section of the left edge. There are two damage areas- a 5x2 cm. one & a 3x1 cm one - which have been mostly repaired with the original pieces in the upper left section of the work. The small areas which have not been repaired have been retouched directly on the mount. Apart from some time staining along the edges, this work is in stable condition.
