Canvas is not lined. SURFACE: In generally good condition. Pigment separation with some associated flaking - in the black of his hair, in the brown area to the left of the head, areas of red at bottom, various areas along left edge. Spots of pigment loss in the lower portion of the yellow shirt. Craquelure in upper portions of yellow. UV: No apparent inpainting.
