Condition
The board is stable. There are scattered spots of retouching across the sky, but concentrated towards the upper left corner, several small spots of retouching to the river, a couple of small spots of retouching beneath the horizon at the centre of the right edge, a 5 by 2cm. area of retouching to the right of the dedication and a small spot to the centre of the lower edge, all visible under UV light. Apart from some craquelure to the sky and a line of frame rubbing along the extreme upper edge, this work is in fairly good condition.
Colours: An overall fairly accurate representation of the original.
