The movement is secured with three later brackets, which are replacements for the original latches. The iron wheels are rusted and will need to be cleaned and the whole movement will need to be overhauled and parts made or replaced. The nag's head for release of the hour strike is replaced. The clock is not functioning and will need to be overhauled before it would work. The dial has been re-footed and shifted one hour. The touch pieces have been cut off. The bell looks early. The gilt iron hand looks good. The case has some details from the drum of the case has been rubbed and there is some loss to the gilding. There are splits to the base plate and crude crescent-shaped reinforcement. Honest repairs and updating over years.
