This model, Ref. 3990, is the cousin to Ref. 3970, which is shown in the previous lot. While the original model has a concave bezel, Ref. 3990's is fully set with an impressive 40 baguette-cut diamonds. This addition gives it the impression of being larger, but in fact, both models have the same diameter. Ref. 3990 differs further from the earlier model with its luminescent feuille hands and 11 diamond-set indexes.

According to our research, Ref. 3990 was produced between 1995 and 2004, with examples in pink gold being introduced in 1997. It was produced in much smaller numbers than its non-diamond-set cousin. To the best of our knowledge, the present lot is one of only two pink gold examples from this reference to appear at auction.

The total diamond weight is approximately 2.76 cts.
