  • A GOLD HUNTING CASED WATCH WITH CHASED CASE AND 24-HOUR INDICATIONCIRCA 1910 NO 2572107
  • diameter 53mm.
• nickel lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, gold cuvette • white enamel dial, Breguet numerals, outer 24-hour indication in red, subisidary seconds • 18k gold case heavily chased with a battle scene composed of a victorious Roman soldier on horseback over a fallen enemy, the reverse centered with monogram beneath a trophy of war, encircled by a foliate vine extending over the band and the reverse scene • case numbered, dial, cuvette and movement signed

Condition

The movement is running, however we recommend service soon. It is beautifully finished and decorated. The dial is clean with no hairlines, however there are some light scuffs to the subsidiary seconds. The case is of exceptional quality and weight, overall in nice condition and shows almost no wear throughout. The Roman soldier figure appears lightly rubbed, but the decoration to the back side is in lovely condition. The case is stamped P & D. , which is the case stamp for Longines watches, Overall the watch is in very nice condition.
