• cal. 215PS circular nickel lever movement, Gyromax balance, 18 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions • silvered dial, Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds • 18k gold curved rectangular case, stepped bezel, case back secured by four screws • integrated 18k gold link bracelet • case, dial, movement and bracelet signed
Condition
The movement is running, however we recommend service soon. The dial is very clean with no visible serface wear. The case is overall in nice condition. There is, however, a rather deep scratch on the bezel between 3 and 4 o'clock. This could be minimized or neutralized a bit with detailing. The bracelet is very clean. The last retail price for this watch in 2002 was 19,500CHF.

Catalogue Note
Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1992 and sale on December 11th of that year.
Ref. 5009 was produced for just over a decade after its debut in 1991. Examples with bracelets, such as the present lot, feature unusual stepped lugs that are very similar to those on Ref. 1480, another Gondolo model produced in the 1940s.
To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time the present example has been offered at auction
