The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial is clean, but there is an oily finish that gives the dial a lustered effect from different angles. The case shows some scuffs from moderate wear throughout, with a small dent to the bezel at 10 o'clock and a superficial scratch at 7 o'clock. The bracelet is quite tight and not stretched. It has some scuffs throughout but is very nice to the touch. Omega further specifies that the watch was delivered on September 11th, 1958 to their agent in Antilles. Omega confirms production of this watch in 1957 and sale on September 11th, 1958.

Today, the Constellation Grand Luxe is among the most desirable vintage Omega watches. Examples from this model are typically fitted with special gold 'pie-pan' dials with a striated chapter ring. The hooded lugs of this model give it the appearance of being larger than its cousin, the Constellation de Luxe.
