Catalogue Note
Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1944 with Breguet numerals and luminous dots and sale on March 12th, 1945.
According to our research, the present wristwatch is one of approximately 20 examples of the Reference 565 in stainless steel known to the market. Very few of these feature such a rare combination of Breguet numerals and luminous dots as found on the present wristwatch.
Reference 565 was launched in 1938 and was made in two series. The first series was available with caliber number 12'''120 and had subsidiary seconds. Starting in 1942, the second series housed caliber 12-27 SC and had centre seconds. The reference 565 was replaced in 1952 by ref.2533.
