This model, Master Compressor Memovox, takes its name from the ingenious crown securing system featured on this watch. The Master Compressor buttons allow the watch to be water-resistant to a deeper level than standard multi-crown watches. This series was made in a limited edition of 250 examples in platinum to celebrate the 170th anniversary of Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2003. The present lot is number 91 from that series.
