• manual winding 18k gold straight-line jewelled lever movement mounted between two scroll-engraved bridges, mono-metallic compensation balance • faceted sapphire crystals to both sides of the 18k yellow gold rectangular case, stepped ends set with 27 diamonds • case signed • with an unsigned gold diamond-set chain

Condition

The movement is running, however we recommend service soon. The sapphire crystals to both sides appear to be in nice condition. The gold frame appears nice and possibly lightly polished once. Overall this is a lovely watch in very good condition.

Catalogue Note

Corum's Golden Bridge watch is almost always seen on a bracelet or strap as a wristwatch and almost never seen as a pendant on a chain. The present lot is an especially unusual example that is rarely seen in the market.
