Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Breguet Certificate and Instruction Manual. Further accompanied by a key, a presentation box with outer card box.

The present example embodies the principles that Abraham Louis Breguet espoused: purity of form, harmony of proportion, and clarity of information. The Classique reveals the beauty of the movement within by presenting Breguet's invention in 1801, the tourbillon regulator. This device was envisaged to compensate the errors in rate caused by the constant changed in the watch's position.
