cal. 315SQR nickel lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 31 jewels, free-sprung Gyromax balance, adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and 5 positions, rotor engraved with the Calatrava cross • silvered dial, applied Roman numerals, outer minute tracker, sweep center seconds, apertures for day, leap year indication, month and moon-phases, retrograde date indicated with inner painted Arabic numerals • 18k white gold case, down-turned lugs, sapphire crystal display screw back • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k white gold PP deployant clasp
Condition
Automatic movement running while cataloguing, perpetual calendar and retrograde functions appear to advance properly while cataloguing. Dial looks nice and clean. Case retains crisp hallmarks. Case and buckle with no signficant signs of use, overall appears in unused condition. Movement numbered 1957976. Case number 2980858. **The leather strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species, please refer to important notices for further information.**

The REF. 5050 has been produced for approximately ten years and its production ended around year 2002. REF. 5050 is the first sweep seconds perpetual calendar wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe since the iconic REF. 2497 and REF. 2438-1. REF. 5050 dials set with Roman numerals account for less than 20% of total production, and thus are highly coveted by collectors.
