  • A YELLOW GOLD AND ENAMEL HUNTING CASED WATCH WITH ENAMEL PORTRAIT OF CHARLES XV KING OF SWEDEN AND NORWAY circa 1870
  • DIAMETER 48 MM
• nickel lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, 15 jewels, Breguet balance spring • gold cuvette engraved with technical details and case numbers • white enamel dial, Roman numerals for hours, outer Arabic numerals for minutes, subsidiary seconds • 18k gold case, the cover with enamel portrait of Charles XV painted en grisaille after a painting by Kiörbe, outer champlevé enamel decoration, the back painted in the same manner with the Royal Coat of Arms.

Condition

Movement running, all functions appear fully operational while cataloguing. Enamel dial in very good condition. Case with some very small signs of wear. Overall the watch is in a very well preserved condition.
