• cal. 79091 automatic nickel lever movement, 68 jewels, mono-metallic balance, adjusted to 5 positions, minute repeating on coiled gongs with 2 hammers • white dial, applied baton hour markers, four engine-turned subsidiary dials indicating date, months combined with 12-hour register, day combined with seconds and moon-phases combined with 30-minute register, aperture for digital year display • over-sized platinum case with down-turned lugs, minute repeating mechanism activated by the slide in the band, screw-down crown, case back secured by 6 screws • case, dial and movement signed • with a platinum IWC buckle
Condition
Automatic movement running, all functions appear fully operational and advancing while cataloguing. Minute repeating sound is rich in tone and well-paced. Dial is clean and looks great. Case and buckle with light scuffs, but this is minor and can be polished easily. Overall the watch appears in almost unused condition. A rare and collectable model.
