Automatic movement running and calendar advancing while cataloguing. Dial is clean and looks good. Case with light minor scuffs throughout, but this can be polished. Hallmarks are clear. Patek Philippe launched Reference 5040 in 1992 and the model was made in two series. The first series began with movement number 770000 and the second series was numbered from 3120000. In addition, the first series features a sunken leap year indicator whilst in the second series it is both sunken and crossed.
