• automatic gilt lever movement, 32 jewels, one-minute tourbillon carriage with mono-metallic compensation balance • gilt dial with sunburst decoration, chapter ring for time display with applied dot numerals, aperture at 11 o'clock displaying the tourbillon cage, aperture at 6 o'clock displaying the automatic pivoting weight • 18k yellow gold rectangular case with stepped bezel and hooded lugs, crown on case back • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k yellow gold Audemars Piguet twin folding clasp
Condition
Automatic movement running while cataloguing. Dial is clean. Case with scuffs, but this can be polished. Overall the watch is in good condition.

Catalogue Note
When production of Audemars Piguet's "Tourbillon Automatique" began in 1986, it was the first ever automatic tourbillon wristwatch. A slim watch, the model ingeniously incorporates the back of the case as the movement plate, thus enabling this to be the flattest tourbillon wristwatch in the world (just 4.8mm in thickness ).
