Catalogue Note

Rolex did not commence production of chronograph wristwatches until the 1930s. By 1937, five examples were displayed in the Rolex catalogue. The chronograph evolved over time through various models, many with the characteristic of anti-magnetism printed on the dial. Reference 6234 was introduced by Rolex around 1958.
