- DIAMETER 53.5 MM.
gilt full plate verge movement signed John Ebsworth, London, plain flat three-arm balance, pierced and engraved balance cock, fusée for the going train, silvered regulation dial, Tulip pillars • silver dial with engraved scrolled foliage, aperture for the night and day hours on a blued steel disc, Roman numerals on a sector to indicate by means of the sun and moon the diurnal and nocturnal hours, outer ring with Arabic cartouche for the minutes indication, blued steel hand • outer and inner plain polished case
Condition
Movement complete and will most probably run. Dial with lovely patina. Outer case loose and probably later to the inner case. Overall good aged condition. Interesting example of a well preserved watch from this period.
