Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1969 with a slate-gray dial and 11 white roman numerals dial and its sale on January 31st, 1985.
REF. 3445 was manufactured from 1961 until 1981. Examples in platinum are extremely rare and the present lot is one of only 8 currently known from the market; furthermore, to the best of our knowledge, it is the only example of a REF. 3445P currently known with a blue dial. Interestingly, our research of vintage Patek Philippe catalogues has found no mention of the reference's availability in platinum which may indicate that it was only available by special request.
