- A platinum and diamond set lady's wristwatch with hooded lugscirca 1930 mvt 817346 case 817346
- length 36mm.
damascened nickel lever movment, 18 jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance, 8 adjustments • silvered dial, arabic numerals, outer minute track • unsigned rectangular hinged case, the sides engraved with floral motifs, the bezel and edges of the lugs set with round-cut diamonds, the centre of each hooded lug with three calibré cut diamonds • dial and movement signed, with an associated Art Deco style clasp
Provenance
The accompanying Extract from the Archives confirms that the movement of this wristwatch was manufactured in 1966 and supplied without a case on July 20th, the same year.
Condition
The movement is running while cataloguing, dial sympathetically refreshed but the signature, tracks and numerals are all still clear. Case back polished and with some scuffs. The diamond set to the lowest part of the lower lug has been bent slightly downwards.
