The present watch is the only known example of a cabriolet cased Patek Philippe watch with a two-train independent seconds movement. Just 7 other cabriolet cased Patek Philippe watches are known but these feature different movements to the present lot. A similar watch case is illustrated in Huber, M., Banbery, A., Patek Philippe Watches, 1982, page 101, pl.5a.
