with a rare "turtleback tile" counterweight

Condition

Very good overall condition. The shade with a few minute chips to the top aperture rim which is not evident when the shade is mounted in the base. The base has a rich brown-green patina with some occasional light surface scratches and rubbing consistent with age and gentle use. The counter balance weight is a fine example with good color and iridescence, with only a few small and minor losses to the patina. The socket appears to be replaced, and the switch mechanism does not catch (click). There are two tiny screws lacking, and one replaced screw, to the socket housing directly above the switch. This lamp is presently wired with a European electrical plug.
