Babe Ruth Signed 14x10 Photograph To Tommy Bridges Of The Detroit Tigers

In the 1930's Babe Ruth, along with his agent Christy Walsh, created the All-American Baseball Awards. Each year, the committee presented elaborate certificates to outstanding players. This large 14" by 10" original photograph shows Ruth and Walsh after one such presentation along with award beneficiaries Gabby Hartnett, Charlie Gehringer, Tommy Bridges and Hank Greenberg in 1935. The photo is inscribed, "To my Pal Tom Bridges, From Babe Ruth." The inscription rates 8/10 minimally, while the image itself has some surface wrinkles but presents well.
