Roberto Clemente Single Signed Baseball

Roberto Clemente's green ink signature (10/10) spans the sweet spot of this cream-colored Eastern Airlines stamped baseball. Clemente had some professional affiliation with Eastern Airlines and in this capacity he signed a number of balls featuring the Eastern Airlines logo. The tragic irony associated with this baseball is readily apparent to most baseball fans as Clemente would be killed in an airplane crash on New Year's Eve in 1971 while flying relief supplies to Nicaraguan earthquake victims.
