New York Yankees Championship Commemorative Black Bats -The Complete Collection of Twenty-Eight (1936-98)

For more than 70 years, batmaker Hillerich & Bradsby has produced a very limited number of commemorative World Series souvenir bats exclusively for executives, players and select dignitaries from each of the season's two finalists. It is believed that the production run was a scant 150 bats annually prior to the 1990's, with a substantially reduced figure implemented thereafter. Needless to say, finding the earliest examples in high-grade is a challenge. This unprecedented offering of commemorative bats covers seven decades, and includes an example from every World Series or American League Championship season in New York Yankees history. The offered collection was meticulously assembled with an eye towards condition. Includes:
