Despite not appearing in their first championship series until 1921, The New York Yankees have appeared in more World Series (39 AL championships) and won more World Championships (26) than any other major league baseball team, more than double the next team, the St. Louis Cardinals (10) and nearly four times as many as their longtime rival Boston Red Sox (7). The Yankees define dynasty. This group of 36 press pins includes all of the Yankees' World Series appearances. Three are missing - 1921, 1922 and 1928. Note that the Yankees "Top Hat" logo made its debut on the 1947 press pin, a patriotic touch in support of the country in World War II. The post has been restored on the 1927 pin. Overall near mint condition.
