1930-32 Lou Gehrig, Ben Chapman And Dusty Cooke Signed Baseball

Outstanding Goldsmith National League ball signed in blue ink by New York Yankees Lou Gehrig, Ben Chapman and Dusty Cooke. Beautiful Lou Gehrig 8/10 signature on a very clean slightly off-white ball. Other two signatures rate about 7-8/10.  According to our consignor her father obtained these signatures himself. Interestingly, she recalls that he tried to obtain Ruth's autograph also but the Babe uncharacteristically refused, leading to her father's lifelong resentment of the Bambino. Gehrig's autograph is as fine as any you'll see on a baseball. A beautifully preserved keepsake. LOA from PSA/DNA.
