  • height of cistern 15 1/4 in. (39cm)
the shallow wall cistern embossed with a vacant cartouche supported by rampant lions below a crown, stamped borders of anthemion foliage, the cover with two finials, spigot  with chained tap, the basin with similar border at base, apparently unmarked

general wear, repair wher spigot joins body and to side of cover, a few high spots worn through at front
