Description
The rectangular cigarette box of black onyx carved in a lattice motif and applied with roses, completed by oblong segments of jade at the the base and hinged lid, mounted in 18 karat gold, 3 3/8 by 2ΒΌ inches, signed Tiffany & Co., France, together with a black bakelite cigarette holder decorated with a band of rose-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum and 18 karat gold, signed Cartier, made in France, numbered 03374, French assay marks.
Condition
CIGARETTE BOX: The onyx is intact other than a small chip on a back corner underneath the lid. One gold floral applique is missing, otherwise the piece is in good condition. Signed Tiffany & Co France, with French assay marks and maker's mark. CIGARETTE HOLDER: Diamonds are of decorative quality. Tiny chips to the bakelite in a couple of places, and some nicking to the finish, but in good condition overall. Signed Cartier Made In France, with maker's mark and French assay marks. Numbered 03374.
