Diamond and seed pearl sautoir

The chain of seed pearl mesh decorated at the sides with circular ornaments and in the center with a laurel wreath set with small old-mine and rose-cut diamonds, supporting a circular pendant-brooch of pierced floral design set with old European-cut and old-mine diamonds, mounted in platinum, length of chain 25 inches, pendant detaches and may be worn separately as a brooch. With fitted box for pendant stamped P.G. Dodd & Son, London. 

The diamonds in the chain weigh approximately 1.50 carats; the diamonds in the pendant approximately 2.95 carats, diamonds are of decorative quality. Seed pearls are a creamy white color with good luster. The necklace is constructed of thin wires, instead of floss, which gives it more durability. Both pieces of Belle Epoque style, but cannot guarantee age. The pendant -brooch is not original to the necklace, and only the pendant-brooch is accompanied by a fitted box signed PG Dodd & Son, London. In good condition.
