Description
Designed as a female figure with butterfly wings applied with plique-à-jour and translucent polychrome enamel, further accented with 2 old European-cut diamonds, signed with the maker's mark for Whiteside & Blank.
Condition
The plique a jour enamel is in good condition other than 3 or 4 minor fractures. The colors are somewhat more muted than indicated by the catalogue illustration. The diamonds are of decorative quality. Overall the piece is in good condition.
