The stylized topiary motif set with a carved ruby leaf, a pear-shaped emerald and small round and single-cut diamonds, accented further with 4 small cabochon emeralds and black enamel, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier, numbered 2432, French assay mark.
Condition
Signed Cartier, numbered 2432 and a second number that is double-struck and illegible. Some losses to enamel. Ruby is slightly less orange than pictured in the catalogue and is semi-opaque, with a few surface reaching inclusions. Emeralds are of good clarity. Diamonds are of decorative quality. The piece is in good condition overall.
