Centering a cushion-shaped aquamarine weighing approximately 13.90 carats, bordered by buff-top calibré-cut sapphires and pavé-set single-cut and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, the sides accented with sugarloaf cabochon sapphires, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier, Paris, numbered 6238B, assay marks.
Condition
The aquamarine is a watery light medium greenish blue and is eye clean, but heavily abraded at the facet junctions. Sapphires are medium deep blue color, and the diamonds are approxiamtely I-J color and VS-SI clarity. Signed Cartier Paris at brooch end and numbered on side of frame below the aquamarine. In good condition overall.
