14 karat gold, ruby and diamond bracelet, Cartier, circa 1940

Designed as a series of rose gold links of flared shape and wavy form, each decorated with a graduated band of calibré-cut rubies bordered by round and single-cut diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 1.75 carats, length 7½ inches, signed Cartier, numbered 2111.

Rubies are a bright shade of slightly pinkish red and are nice clarity. Diamonds are approximately H-I color and VS clarity. Bracelet is also stamped 14K and there is a mark in a lozenge that is a possible maker's mark. An additional serial number 2376 is lightly stamped near female end of clasp. Some discoloration to the surface of the gold and minor scratching, but in good condition overall.
