Description
The hinged purse of gold basketweave design decorated in the center of the flap with a scroll of round diamonds, the inside with fitted mirror, weighing approximately 190 dwts., 5¾ by 4 inches, French assay mark, numbered 1908; together with an 18 karat gold mesh coin purse and a comb.
Condition
PURSE: in good condition with discoloration to the lip of the upper lid. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Indistinct maker's mark near mirror. COIN PURSE: in very good condition. Bearing French assay marks. Weight approximately 14.5 dwts. COMB: Very good condition. The comb and case are composed of simulated tortoise shell.
