Description
The oval cabochon jade measuring approximately 18.9 by 12.9 mm., within a frame decorated with bow motifs at the sides, set with 22 old European-cut diamonds and 8 baguette diamonds weighing approximately 1.35 carats, mounted in platinum, size 7.
Condition
The jade is not as deeply colored as picture in the catalogue, but a brighter green color. Diamonds are approximately G-H color and VS-SI clarity. Shank was formerly hinged but is now soldered solid. Evidence of solder repair at shank and scratching and nicking to the gallery and shoulders, but the piece is in good condition overall.
