Description

  • David Webb
The circular pendant decorated with a pavĂ©-set diamond heart within a frame of additional round and baguette diamonds, suspended from a tapering necklace decorated centrally with a diamond-set floral cluster, set respectively with 182 round and baguette diamonds and with 101 round, 8 baguette and 12 marquise-shaped diamonds, altogether weighing a total of approximately 24.50 carats, mounted in platinum, all within borders of hammered gold scrolls, length approximately 15 inches, pendant and necklace signed Webb, pendant detaches to be worn as a brooch.

Condition

The platinum and diamond segments were possibly of earlier date and were incorporated into the present design by Webb. Diamonds are approximately F-H color and VS-SI clarity. Some minor discoloration to the texturing of the gold segments, but in good condition overall. Flexible, hefty and well-made. Necklace is fitted with a safety closure. Pendant-brooch is signed Webb on the pin bridge and the necklace is signed Webb on the reverse of the V-shaped center link.
