Description

The upwardly curving star-shaped frames of copper-colored metal centered by flared 'en tremblant' segments applied with red, white and blue enamel in an American flag motif, surmounted by emblems of gold eagles, the medals commemorating 'Friends of Soldiers & Sailors, New York State,' signed Cartier, U.S. Pat 2-220-442.

Condition

Good condition. Some of the copper-colored plating is worn on the pin mechanism. Minor losses to the enamel. The eagle emblems are gold plated and read "Friends of New York State Soldiers Sailors".
