Description
Centering a square emerald-cut emerald weighing 4.52 carats, flanked by 2 emerald-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.90 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, size 7ΒΌ.
Condition
Good condition with light wear to the mounting; evidence of sizing to the platinum shank with gold. The richly saturated, medium-deep bluish green emerald presents very minor inclusions, but essentially eye-clean. Two very small cavities and a small chip on the girdle. Please see AGL report no. CS 39166 stating that the emerald is of Classic Colombian origin; evidence of faint clarity enhancement: organic (polymer type). The diamonds are approximately H-I color, VS clarity. One diamond has strong fluorescence. Please note that the mounting is composed of platinum and 18K gold, not white and yellow gold as described in the catalogue.
