Description
- Van Cleef & Arpels
Designed as a dome of overlapping leaves, set with numerous round emeralds and rubies and with 124 round diamonds weighing approximately 14.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold and platinum, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, made in France, numbered 20328, maker's marks, assay marks, 1 diamond missing.
Condition
Good condition and nicely three-dimensional. One diamond is missing from one of the ruby petals, but the area is hidden by the mounting and not noticeable. The rubies are deep red and nicely-matched (a deeper and less pinkish color than suggested by the catalogue illustration); the emeralds are medium to medium-deep, very slightly bluish green. The diamonds are F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels Made in France and numbered 20328 on the pin bridge.
