Description
The jade plaques of flared rectangular shape carved with small fanciful animals and gourds, suspended from articulated fringes designed as vines and leaves, set with round and single-cut diamonds accented with berries of round cabochon rubies, further accented with small round onyx cabochons and black enamel, mounted in platinum.
Condition
Good condition. The carved jade plaques are a mottled, light to medium-deep green but present a generally even coloration; the overall color is softer than indicated by the catalogue illustration. The diamonds are approximately H-I-J color, SI clarity; the rubies are medium-deep, purplish red (not quite as bright and pinkish as seen in catalogue illustration).
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
