Description

Centering an emerald-cut ruby weighing approximately 2.50 carats, flanked by 6 square emerald-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.40 carats, edged by small round and single-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, size 4ΒΌ.

Condition

Good condition with very light nicking to the underside of the shank. The ruby is a medium-deep purplish red (a richer color than indicated by the catalogue illustration) with readily apparent eye-visible inclusions. The square emerald-cut diamonds are approximately H-I-J color, VS-SI clarity. The round diamonds are of comparable color and clarity with several examples bearing minor chips (visible only under magnification).
